INTRO
Hi~ I'm Sandra from Jakarta, Indonesia. It's been almost 9 years since i became a K-Pop fan, but it hasn't been long since i like BTS (like them since January 2016). But i like them so much that i decided to go to Korea to watch their concert and their comeback stage (music show) >.< Fortunately, during my stay there, INFINITE Woohyun was promoting his solo debut and VIXX Leo had Matahari musical, so i had more chance to see them (I love INFINITE since A Man In Love era & I love VIXX Leo too hehe). Actually, i've been to Korea twice before this, but it was mostly for sightseeing because i planned both trips and booked the flights months before the trips. Even though i planned the trips because i love K-pop & K-drama but i ended up falling in love with its attraction, the scenery, and focus on touring instead haha.Enough for the intro, and here's some stories related to my k-pop trip, from concert ticket booking preparation until the end of my K-pop trip ^^
Warning: This is a really long post, but i underlined some important things to note so you can just check them out if you are too lazy to read all ^^

# Ticketing : Booking concert ticket online on interpark
I'm an official 3rd term ARMY (BTS fanclub) so i booked the concert ticket during pre-sales. I opened the website exactly when the pre-sales open and the loading took longer than usual but not too long, maybe about a minute. When the seat selection page opened, i immediately clicked the seating area on 1st floor in the center (section 8), and 1st row until 3rd row were already fully booked, so i immediately booked the 4th row seat.

BTS Epilogue Concert Seat Plan |
You shouldn't waste your time contemplating what to choose or opened when the pre-sales/ sales was opened, because the tickets will be sold really fast, just planned and created priority list before. Use fast internet connection, and if you are in Korea or other countries which internet cafe has faster internet connection, you should access the web from PC bang/ internet cafe, because the ticketing competition for famous idol's concert in Korea is fierce. You can also use korean shopping service like my online shop (1004kshop.net) to help you buy ticket and goods online.
The tickets were sold out in 20-30 minutes. When the general sales was opened, there were some seats left, but those were not good seats (far from stage). There were additional standing tickets sold on the spot on D-day, but of course those were also far from stage. Here is an article from soompi about ticketing in Korea which might be useful: K-Pop 101 How to buy tickets to a kpop concert or musical.
# D-Day, before the concert
There were official merchandise normal booth & express booth (for lightick & fuse set only), official 3rd term ARMY booth, ticket booth, and fansites giving out free fans/ photocards/ banners. But all had long queue, especially merchandise booth, so you better come early. If i remember correctly, the merchandise booth was opened on 9 am, i start queueing on 10 am (at express booth), and finally got to buy the lightstick after 1 hour (at 11 am).
Concert ticket booked through global interpark can only be picked-up on the spot & on concert day, 2 hours before the gate opened. Ticket buyer's name is printed on the ticket so it can only be picked up by the ticket owner.

# The concert
The standing area was so packed, especially the area near stage, and the fans on that area were more wild (pushing, pulling hair, etc), to the point that their hair were all messy after the concert and some were turned off & regret getting the standing ticket (my acquaintance even said Taehyung seemed turned off by the mess in standing area that he went to stage near seating area more, which was fortunate for me hehe), so if you plan to go to BTS concert in Korea in the future & you cant stand all those suffering, you better buy the seating one. If you can stand all those suffering and want to see them from a close distance, then standing area is more suitable for you, that's if you get good seats (standing number) of course.
I usually watched concert from standing area, so watching from seating area was not as exciting because it was quite far from stage and i couldn't see them clearly (as in from super close distance to the point that i can see their pimple). I almost regret getting the seating ticket if not for Taehyung and Jungkook (my top 2 biases) coming near my seat often >.< I'll just watch the concert from standing area for their concert in my country if they ever come here because its probably not gonna be as wild as in Korea and the venue is probably smaller, so closer to them >.<
My seat was an aisle seat, i was really visible to staff (the staff stood near the fence on front row aisle) so i couldn't take any picture during the concert. Even taking picture before and after the concert inside the concert venue were prohibited. Well.. fortunately i'm the type who enjoy concert with my eyes, not my camera, so its okay, there are many good fancam i can download, and bighit will release the concert DVD anyway haha.
Before the concert began, i was so bored so i looked around a lot. First, i saw elder with some boys/ men greeting other elder/ family (on seating section 11), so i thought it might be the boys' family, and it seems i was right. Because during the concert, Yoongi kneeled and cried to that direction, and since on that day (i watched the concert on 2nd day) only Taehyung's and Yoongi's families came, so the 2 families i saw must be their families, my in-laws >.< Next, i also saw a tall guy wearing sunglasses and 2 guys wearing black masks (on seating section 10) so i thought they must be celebrities, i mean, a fan or family wouldn't watch a concert wearing sunglasses right? hahaaa. So, i tried to get better look of them, and turn out the guy wearing sunglasses is Super Junior-M Zhoumi >.< I've been a Super Junior fan for almost 9 years, so of course i recognized him immediately hahaaaa, and I know he's close with Yoongi, so I was sure that's the reason why he came to the concert, so i tweeted about it before the concert began. After the concert, he uploaded a pic taken with Yoongi, and i felt so proud knowing i was right hahahaaa. Oh, Kim Minjae also came to the concert and sat in the center section, but how come i didn't see him >.< No wonder Taehyung keep coming to seating section, his family and friends were there, thats why haha.
This is my first time attending concert in Korea and it was more emotional, compared to Korean concert held in other countries, since Seoul was their first stop of the tour, their home country, and their parents came to the concert. Especially since it was BTS' first concert in Olympic Gymnastic Stadium. I almost cry during VCR before Young Forever performance until Whalien because of all the emotional talk (like Jimin suddenly thanking his members while holding on the tears), lyrics, performance, plus the members crying. It was even sadder because Yoongi who rarely cry actually cried in bowing position (to his parent's direction) while hiding his face, but i could see his shoulder ㅠㅠ Ahhh I miss them so much already ㅠㅠ I cant say anything more for now because i will be overflowed with feelings again. I'll just spazz again when the concert DVD released.

Music Show
To attend music show live, you can apply through fanclub and the music show's website (for KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core, SBS Inkigayo, and Arirang Simply Kpop). As for pre-recording, you have to apply through fanclub, and for BTS, its through BTS official fancafe. They used to accept application from non-official ARMY (BTS fanclub) and had several priorities, but since there are too many fanclub members already, now they only accept application from official fanclub members. Application through fancafe is not only for music show, but also for other show's recording, such as ISAC (MBC Idol Star Athletics Championships), Year end's festival, Award's show, and variety show's recording.
Usually notice about music show recording will be posted one day before the recording and several hours before the application open. For example, for this comeback, pre-recording for M!Countdown was scheduled on Wednesday, 11th May 2016, at 24.00 KST. So they posted notice about it on Tuesday, 10th May, and the application opened 2 hours after, at 8 pm, closed at 8.30 pm. The application usually opened at around 6 pm ~ 8 pm, for 30 minutes. A new board will be opened for certain music show application, named as the recording date & music show name such as 0511 엠카 1순위 for May 11th Mcountdown pre-recording, and the board is usually opened 10 minutes before the application opened. The board looks like level-up (등업신청) board. You just need to create a post containing your information (usually membership number, name, birthday, phone number) with certain format.
The quota for music show pre-recording is usually around 300 - 400 people (except for SBS MTV The Show & Arirang Simply Kpop which are usually around 100-150 ppl), but they will give out unconfirmed numbers (usually 50). The unconfirmed numbers are to fill the quota because usually some people who got the numbers dont show up, so if you got unconfirmed numbers, you might get into the music show or not. The numbers (confirmed & unconfirmed ones) are given on first come first served basis, and they will comment on your post to let you know your number. You don't need to print the number comment from fancafe. Dont bother coming to try getting into the music show through BTS fanclub again if you didn't get the numbers, because they wont accept you. As for Music Core pre-recording, two fanclub (1 bigger and 1 smaller fanbases i guess) usually get into the studio together, so you can try getting in from another fanclub.
Getting into BTS music show pre-recording is really hard. It's harder than getting concert ticket. Because the moment the application opened, there were so many people posting the application that the fancafe was down for a minute, and when i could finally opened it again, there were thousands application posts already. So, you need super fast internet connection & practice. haha. Go to internet cafe (PC bang)! I didn't know it would be that hard, so for Mcountdown, i posted my application using my phone. I pressed the "post' button at 8.00 pm but it was posted at 8.01 pm, so i didn't get the number. The next time, for Mcountdown mini fanmeeting, i posted from PC bang but was late by a second so i didn't get it again. So i practiced more and finally got the numbers for Music Bank & Inkigayo (didn't try the Music Core one because i had a promise with a friend on Music Core pre-recording day).
You are required to bring these items:
1. All versions of latest album, including CD & the cover/photobook. For example: during Young Forever promotion, bring Young Forever albums, both Night & Day versions.
2. Printed of latest title song (in this case, Fire) download proof from Melon (downloaded songs page) & your Melon profile (기본정보 관리) page, from web PC version.
3. Official lightstick.
4. ID card for ARMY who lives in Korea, or passport for overseas ARMY.
5. Official ARMY membership card (if you haven't received the card, then bring printed of official ARMY membership confirmation page from interpark).
If you miss one of the attributes, then you won't be able to attend the music show. The tricky part from requirement above is printing your Melon profile (기본정보 관리) page. Because your full name and birthday have to be fully shown on the page, without sensor ***. And it requires you to verify your identity (본인확인 인증) using korean phone number.

In the notice post, they also state the members-check time, and pre-recording time & location. Members-check time is the time they check your attributes. You have to stand & queue based on your number before the members check time. About 15 minutes before the members-check time, the staffs will will hold boards with numbers range written on it (for example 0-100, 101-200, 201-300, 301-400, and 예비 번호 (unconfirmed numbers)), and ask you to queue in front of them. To queue on correct numbers you have to keep asking people's numbers, and the staffs will only hold the numbers boards for a while (maybe 5 minutes) so if you come 10 minutes before member-check time, you may not see it. If you come late or late in finding your queue number, then you have to queue in the back of the line (in the back of unconfirmed numbers), in another word, you lose your number. The staffs and fans are strict, including about this matter, so staffs will keep checking if any latecomers sneaking into the queue and fans won't tell the latecomers their numbers so that they can't find their queue number.
After the staff verifying you (that you bring all required items and your name on your passport is the same as your Melon & membership card), they will stamp your ARMY confirmation page paper with ARMY stamp and mark your hand. Next, another staff will come, mention your name, give you new number, write the new number on your hand, and give you scratchcard. BigHit gives away free limited unrevealed photocards for music show's attendees and the scratchcard determines the number of photocards you get. Then another staff will come to give you the photocards. I was lucky to get the full set photocards (full set = 8 cards = 7 individual + 1 group) >.< And the photocards have good quality.
Anyway, the whole members-check process took about an hour. You shouldn't leave the queue before you get the new number because they will think you come late and ask you to queue in the back of the line. You can leave the queue for a while after you get the number, but if you're gonna leave the queue completely (like for going to toilet or convenience store), you have to ask for permission from the staff (they will ask your number and tell you to come back as soon as possible).

Usually they dont tell you specific assemble spot, so you have to find it by yourself. But they might announce the specific spot through BTS Official twitter account (@bts_bighit). For this comeback, they had SBS Inkigayo pre-recording at SBS 등촌동 공개홀. The assemble spot for 1st pre-recording was in front of the SBS building (it was really obvious because the SBS complex there is small and there were ARMY only because the members-check time was at 3.30 am). But later on there were too many other idol's fanclubs there, so for 2nd pre-recording and live, BigHit announced different assemble spot on BTS official twitter.
KBS complex is really big, and on music bank day it was so crowded it might get confusing (i found the assemble spot late and didn't get into music bank because of this ㅠㅠ), so i uploaded KBS map as a guide ^^ To get to KBS, take subway to National Assembly Station and get out from exit 4 or 5. From there, see the map to see direction to get to KBS. For this comeback (and probably for the future too), the assemble spot was inside the KBS complex, at KBS 신관 building's corridor/ terrace. To get there, go inside the complex through KBS front gate (see picture above), turn right, walk straight and then you will stairs on your left. Get to the building's terrace through that stairs. Note that i think it is prohibited to go inside the complex after music bank end because around that time the stars are coming out from the building and some are going to the parking lot inside and outside of the KBS complex. You might see the stars but you can only see them from outside (from front and side gate). When i was there, some stars (including BTS) were picked up and got on the cars right in front of the 신관 building after music bank so fans couldn't see them from outside. Then their cars head towards the front gate, so i ran from side gate to front gate to see them hahaaa (fortunately i remember their car after seeing it on fansign event venue parking lot). And fortunately, J-Hope and maybe other members too open their car's window and waved to fans, so i got to see J-Hope for like 2 seconds hahaaa. But, its better to see them arriving (in the morning before Music Bank but still on the same day). It is waayyy more crowded and its hard to get good spot, but you can get inside the complex (in the parking lot in front of KBS 신관 building) and might be able to see the stars walking in front of you, like in this video (1) or this (2) or this (3) or this photo (4) << These are INFINITE Woohyun videos and photo, just to show you the condition at KBS before music bank.
Mnet (CJ E&M) and SBS prism complex in Sangam-dong are small so it's easier to find the fanclub. I haven't been to MBC (both in Ilsan & Sangam-dong) so i can't say anything about it. But here's the map (it's all in Korean tho).

Pre-recording might be held late at night or early in the morning, and the one held before the airing day might be delayed for a long time. For this comeback, BTS was scheduled to start pre-recording for MCountdown at midnight but i heard it was delayed to 4 am. Pre-recording for SBS Inkigayo (same day as airing day) was scheduled to be held at 5 am, but i think it only got delayed by half hour or an hour. But the members-check time was at 3.30 am so i departed at 2.30 am from my accomodation in hongdae by taxi and arrived at 3.00 am. The taxi fare was about 9,000 - 10,000 won. I waited outside of SBS complex near the gate and not long after, a car came and it was one of the boy's car. Lucky >.< Most fans waited not near the gate so they started running when they heard the boys came. SBS complex is small so i could see the boys getting off the car. So I got to see them (or more exactly only saw Jungkook clearly, couldn't really see the other members clearly). Jungkook waved to fans cheerfully and seemed full of energy even that early in the morning, such an angel >.<
At about 5.30 am, fans started entering inkigayo studio based on their number, small number first. Small numbers (maybe around 80 people) got standing area right in front of the stage, while the others got seating area. I heard its the same for other music shows except Mcountdown which is all standing. The seats were not enough so people with big numbers (maybe the last 50) sat on the seating area aisle stairs and the rest stood in the back of seating area. I got number 337 from fancafe then changed to 292 during members-check (meaning there were 45 people before me who didn't come or came late) out of 400 numbers given so i got a seat on the right side. There was platform (with cameraman and cameras) in front of the center of seating area so i think it might block the view for some people in the center of seating area.
When i entered the venue, the pre-recording rehearsal (?) has started and they were singing FIRE chorus. They performed FIRE for about 4-5 times (pardon my bad memory). There was break time after each performance and they went backstage to wipe their sweat (and maybe fix their makeup?). They didn't interact much with fans, only did greeting, said something like "Thank you", "How was it? Did you like it?", waving to fans, and made heart pose. Since Inkigayo was their goodbye stage so they did lots of heart pose, especialy Jungkook. Well he's known as heart machine right hahaaaa. He was so extra during the pre-recording, i think he gave the most fanservice. hahaaa
After one of the performance, it seemed Taehyung dropped something so he was looking for it while looking confused with serious face and it was really cute. He was confused like that but ARMYs (including me) started saying "Awww cute" hahaaaa. Then, after another break, Jimin said "should we greet again?" but no one answer and PD-nim said "Recording is starting" and Jimin expression was like oh okay and slightly embarassed (?) and it was so adorable hahaaaa. Poor baby. After the pre-recording finished, they boys waved for quite long to all direction (kinda like waving at the end of a concert) then the members went backstage one by one with maknae line as (except taehyung) as usual being the last. But Taehyung was still waving to fans on stage so a staff dragged him and he was still waving and smiling widely (you know his trademark rectangular smile hahaaa) while being dragged, hahaaaa, he's seriously so adorable >.<
Inside the venue, audience (fans) are not allowed to take photo or record anything, and it seems no one tried to do that, maybe because there are lots of staffs & security who monitor the audience, and you could get kicked out and blacklisted if caught. I think the pre-recording took about 30 ~ 60 minutes. Before the last recording, the staffs were setting the camera and its path (railway?) and it took quite some time, maybe about 15 minutes. Audience (fans) are actually not allowed to go out or go to toilet once they are inside the venue, but since the break took quite some time a fan was finally allowed to go to toilet.

SBS Mokdong Broadcast Center (SBS 목동방송센터): for radio broadcast (?) |
While waiting near the building gate/door, i overheard the security ajussi told a fan in front of me that the boys will come from basement through the stairs and told her she should go near the stairs. And he was right! The boys really came from basement through stairs which has glass walls so i saw them when they came and left the radio studio.

When the boys left the studio through the stairs, the people who initially queue 1 meter from the glass ran towards the glass wall, so i hurriedly move forward too and missed Yoongi. And the boys waving at us -fans- making me automatically wave at them back and completely forgot that i was recording them lol, so the video only captured Jin's pink top then it became a mess hahaaa, its so bad so i wont upload it haha. Anyway, I was on 2nd row in front of the glass wall so when they passed there, the boys and I were super close (less than 1 meter) and only separated by glass wall >.< Almost died of heart attack when hobi's face got super close to the glass lol. And when they passed in front of me with sunshine shining on their handsome faces, I thought they were angels, so handsome & unreal >.< Especially because Jungkook & Jin's complexion is quite pale, and Taehyung's features are so sharp. Then i followed Korean fans to catch a glimpse of them leaving with their cars (vans) to the car exit gate (see SBS radio map above). Not long after, their car passed and Taehyung opened the window and waved at us >.< So sweet of him <3 The members rode in 2 cars but i didn't see another one, so it seemed i missed the 1st car. But it's okay, because i have seen my ultimate bias Kim Taehyung~ hahaaaa
Fansign Event
BTS is really popular right now so i think you should buy at least 100 albums if you want to attend the fansign. I bought 25 albums for Synnara fansign (online, during pre-order period) and didn't win. I got curious and really just wanna try my luck again so bought another 7 albums for Music Korea fansign and of course i didn't win haha. My friend bought 100 albums for Synnara fansign (bought online) and 90 albums for another store fansign (bought offline), and won both. I wanted to buy many of course (then sell it again) but the album this time (HYYH Young Forever) is thick and heavy (700 gr per album, 2 times thicker & heavier than normal album), so i couldn't bring back lots of albums. Even bringing that much added more than 20 kg so i brought 37 kg baggage in total. Haha. Fortunately i went with a friend so she took 1 luggage of mine to her flight, so no expensive excess fee. hahaaa. Next time (hmm maybe next year), i'm gonna buy at least a hundred, brought back 20 albums or so, then send the rest with korea post haha. I'm planning to sell the albums at original price, and send it to my country -Indonesia- (and other countries too maybe, if anyone interested) by registered small packet, which is wayyyy cheaper than EMS, so cheaper compared to buying it on online shop. Oh, there will be giveaway (BTS albums and official lightstick) and freebies too to attract more buyers hahaaa, so if you're interested, stay tune! If i open PO again, I will post it on my shop twitter @1004shop_id, my bistip account, and my tokopedia shop.
Okay back to fansign application related stuff, i think there are more buyers for fansign event which is opened during pre-order period and online, because it's cheaper, there are discount coupon, and sometimes the first-press edition offers more (for example, poster and limited photocard). So you better buy more albums. As for, the offline one, for HYYH Young Forever album, the price is more expensive by 5,000 won compared to the online one. To buy albums online from synnara, you can buy on their web or through email. Email is easier. You send them email (see the email and the format on their website, there is english instruction), they reply with total amount and their paypal account, you pay (and maybe confirm that you have paid). If your order and payment are confirmed then they will email you again. The winners will be announced on their website, so even if you don't have korean number and fill the form with your home-county phone number, its okay.
For fansign offline application, the store staff will ask you whether you want to apply for the fansign or not. Then they will ask you to give them your information (name) and contact number. They will write your lottery number on your receipt and you must keep it. They will announce the winners on their blog/ website. Here is an article about fansign from soompi which might be useful: K-Pop 101: How to attend fansign.

Purchasing proof (receipt) from Music Korea offline store |
I went to the fansign venue even though i didn't win the fansign lottery. And there were only few fans outside of the venue, maybe about 10 people (probably because most fans who usually follow them around were inside) and the parking lot is outdoor, so it was easier to see them when they were about to get on the cars to leave the venue. To get a good spot, just follow korean fans and stand where they stand because they usually know more. At that time, i saw 3 cars: 2 were on the building parking lot and 1 was in the opposite of the building, on the road side (?). I thought the boys were going to get on the 3 cars so i (and other foreign fans) stood at a spot which was near/ in the center of all 3 cars, so not so close to each cars, meanwhile korean fans were waiting near the building parking lot. But turn out the boys only got on 2 cars so the spot korean fans waiting was really close to the boys, meanwhile mine was not so close, about 3 - 5 meters (i moved from my initial spot to get closer look, so from 5 m to 3 m).
Oh, fansign is usually held at around 7 pm ~ 9 pm for about 2 hours, and since music show applications open at around 6 pm ~ 8 pm, you might not have time to apply music show on PC bang.
VIXX Leo
Arriving at musical venue (before Matahari musical)

Labels on the ground to tag spot |
I went to see VIXX Leo (Taekwoon oppa~) before his musical, from 10th to 12th May. The musical started at 8 pm KST but he came at around 6.50~7.00 pm. You can place a label on the ground to tag your spot so bring pen, paper, tape, scissors, and transparent plastc (to protect your paper from water/rain). You can write the date you want to tag, and your sensored *** phone number on the paper. On 11th May after seeing Leo, i changed my label to 12th May to tag the spot for 12th May, and no one took it off so it means putting the label not on D-Day is okay ^^
Taekwoon oppa is more good looking in real life. He took his time to look at the fans one by one and tried to have eye-contact with everyone. So sweet. I hope he remembers me since there were only few foreign fans there, plus he even have recording of me (well with other fans too ofc) haha. I wonder what will he do with the recording. memorizing all his fans' face? hahaaa i wish
INFINITE Woohyun
Music show
I didn't get into music show for Woohyun pre-recording, but i tried applying and knew the rules. You have to lock your post and follow the format, or your application will be returned. I got everything right but didn't lock my post so my application was returned. It was such a pity because there were only 300+ applications for Mcountdown pre-recording, meanwhile the quota is 400, so all fans with correct applications got the numbers. The application and process are pretty much the same as BTS one, so you can check my story on BTS music show above. The difference are on
- Priority/ rank: There are 3 ranks. Rank 1 (official fans who got numbers from fancafe), rank 2 (unofficial fans who got numbers from fancafe), and rank 3 (fans who dont get numbers from fancafe).
- Required items. For fans who got number from fancafe: ID card/ passport, latest album, and print of title song download proof and legal music site profile/ identification page (The music site doesn't have to be Melon). Additional items for official fans (official INSPIRIT) are membership card and offical lightstick/ slogan.
- Unconfirmed numbers. INFINITE staffs don't give out unconfirmed numbers so you can try applying for music show through the fanclub on the spot.
I applied for Arirang Simply Kpop pre-recording too, but didn't win. It seems they only pick a few people. Because the applicants were not too many (maybe about 100 people or less) so i thought i was going to win, but no. I checked the winners list for Woohyun's other music show pre-recording too, and all who won (got numbers) were official INSPIRIT (except for the mcountdown one), so you better join the official fanclub if you want to attend INFINITE (or the members solo and unit) music show. There will probably more applicants for INFINITE comeback stage compared to solo or unit stage. I checked INFINITE previous comeback stages audience winners, and all are official INSPIRIT (Infinite fanclub), so getting the number is probably as tough as BTS music show.
Radio Show: Sukira (KBS Cool FM Super Junior Kiss The Radio)
Pretty much the same as BTS one i mentioned above. Sukira starts at 10 pm KST. To see the location, see KBS map picture above (on BTS music show section). To get to KBS, take subway to National Assembly Station and get out from exit 4 or 5. From there, see the map to see direction to get to sukira. There are stairs in front of the building and get to KBS terrace through the stairs. You can see the studio from the terrace, sukira studio is the one with Cool FM written in front of the studio. We watch the open studio from the terrace (outdoor). There are chairs, monitor, and mic outside, so sometimes the stars interact (talk) with fans. We can see the stars coming and leaving the radio show from lobby part which is open to public inside of KBS building, like in this video. The entrace to the lobby is near sukira. As for the open studio, it was just as crowded as BTS one and I couldn't see anything hahaaaa. If you want to watch it, you shoud come early in the morning on D-Day, tag your spot (paste paper with your name on the floor), then you can leave and come back before the show.

Other Preparation
Flight
Korean singers' or idols album release are usually announced 1 week ~ 1.5 month before, meanwhile the concerts date are usually announced about 1~2 months before, which means you can book the flight from 2 months before, which also means more expensive flight ticket. I started looking for flight ticket from 5 weeks before departure (late March 2016) and at that time Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines were having promotion. But because my departure date (Saturday, 7 May 2016) was on a long weekend (5-6 May 2016 are Indonesian & Korean national holiday), the Singapore Airline promotion ticket was sold out so fast (only in a day). So I booked Cathay Pacific flight (economy class - promo fare) instead. Tips: book on its official website for more flight option & cheaper flight ticket! I got return flight (2 ways flight) for Rp 5.5 million (~USD 410), which is more expensive than AirAsia promotion fare which has to be booked months ago by ONLY Rp 1 million (~USD 70), so it's still quite cheap.
I got free 20 kg baggage and meals on all fight. They also provide several meals options (muslim food, vegetarian food, etc) which has to be ordered until a day before the flight. Since it was not direct flight, the route was JKT-HK-SEOUL & SEOUL-HK-JKT, so i got 4 meals. That fare is eligible if your departure and return flight date differ by less than a month. I checked it regularly until several days before my departure, and it was still available with the same price. There were also some transit duration flight options: 2 hours, 10 hours transit (same price), and 25 hours transit (more expensive by Rp 300,000.00). So, you can travel to Hongkong or Macau too ^^
Accomodation
If your main purpose going to Seoul is for attending music shows, I recommend you to stay at Hongdae or Digital Media City (Sangam-dong) area, which are close to most broadcast stations. Accomodation located near broadcast stations is important because you might have to come early in the morning, and you definitely want to arrive as soon as possible and don't wanna come late. Hongdae is located in the middle of most broadcast stations. If I remember correctly, It's only 1 station away from Digital Media City station (SBS MTV The Show, Mnet M!countdown, MBC Music Core), 2 stations away from KBS (Music Bank) and SBS Dongcheon-dong (Inkigayo). If you take taxi to those broadcast stations, it only costs about 8,000 ~ 10,000 won. Also, there are lots of shops, restaurants, street-food stalls, tourists (so more tourist friendly), internet cafe, and performance in Hongdae. It's close to airport and if you take subway (metro), no transit from/to airport. This is important if you are going to bring heavy or lots of bags/ luggage. It's also quite close to downtown and tourists attractions (Myeongdong, Namsan, Gyeongbokgung Palace, etc), about 30 minutes by subway. Also, lots of fansign events are held near Hongdae.
As for Digital Media City (Sangam-dong) area, it's VERY close to SBS, Mnet, and MBC. You may walk there, and you may see or bump into celebrities if you walk past the broadcast stations often. It's a bit far to other broadcast stations, but not so far, probably only 3 stations away. But it's also more far to downtown, and probably there weren't lots of tourists and shops there.
O.O lain kali boleh pergi bareng dong wkwkw
